I'm a self taught home baker, student of the cookie decorating video rabbit hole. 

I'm not a baking scientist, nor a blank cookie canvas artist - just someone who enjoys 

bringing a little sweetness to the world. 

Originally from Minneapolis, MN, I started my business in 2019 while living in a suburb of 

Madison, WI with my husband Kyle and two children, Andrew & Elizabeth. We've since 

moved back toward the Twin Cities and built a house in New Richmond, WI in St. Croix 

County, in Western Wisconsin. (Or as we call it, "Eastern Minnesota.") My interest in baking

has grown from a general enjoyment to an all around obsessive (and expensive) hobby.

I've always had an interest in baking, including birthday cakes for each of my two kids. But I 

hadn't decorated my first cookie until February 2019, for my son's 5th birthday. Everyone was so

sweet in their complements, but the truth is, I never would have imagined myself taking orders and 

selling my decorated cookies after that first attempt, and it took me several months to pick up a rolling

pin again. I can't quite be sure what enticed me back, but I forced my husband's family to endure my sugar cookies in the Summer of 2019, and then again a month later when we had a backyard barbecue with friends from our preschool. From this journey came my first paid order in September 2019 and I've been having a blast ever since!

When I'm not stressing out about whether you're going to love your cookies or if I've over-communicated in my long reply back to your order inquiry, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, using far too much sarcasm, watching obscene amounts of cookie decorating videos (and crime dramas), listening to audio books & podcasts, and pretending I'm witty & hilarious. *wink*
